Design workshop with Deborah Newton - Color, Shaping & New: Premium Rooms

Let’s get together and explore an exciting part of knitwear design: COLOR!  We’ll learn about working with color, as well as how to apply color to our projects!  We’ll explore the technical aspects of stranded colorwork as well as intarsia!

And we will continue our theme about learning more about garments: different approaches to armholes and how to interpret them in different weights of yarn, with different ease. 

 We’ll do some draping with fabric to come up with some new garment shapes. 

 And we will explore “modular” garments and how to use them as templates for designing!

A premium room for the design retreat is $2,100 all inclusive, this reservation is for a $1,000 deposit against the registration fee.
